Elgin Baylor, the Clippers’ vice president of basketball operations, still has flare with a basketball in his hands, even though his playing career ended over three decades ago, when during his prime, he was the most feared forward in the NBA. Baylor attends every practice at home and it is common for him to amaze his players with his array of trick shots. Just the other day, Baylor was standing near the court sideline, when he retrieved a ball that bounced his way. Turning to trainer, Jasen Powell, Baylor asked, “How do you want it?” Powell answered, “Underhand.”
So, 20 feet from the basket, Baylor promptly banked in a one-handed. underhanded shot from the left wing.
