Darrell Bailey, AKA Clipper Darrell, is scheduled to fly to Texas early next week for a second interview with the Dallas Mavericks regarding a potential position with their game operations staff.”I’m supposed to hear from them at the end of this week,” Bailey said Wednesday night, during halftime of the Clippers-Atlanta Hawks game.
Bailey was in Dallas last weekend. During his two-day stay, he interviewed with Paul Monroe, the Mavericks’ vice president in charge of marketing.
Bailey has been a Clippers’ season-ticket holder since the 2000-2001 season and is well-recognized for his half blue, half red suits.
